| In 2005, I was invited to exhibit and take part in a workshop in Kerava, Finland., on the banks of Lake Tuusula, with 20 other international textile artists. The exhibition (Kerava Museum) included existing work, and work made during the workshop – around a theme of 'Wo-man and Technology'. During the week, I worked on a long scroll design, based on our long drive to Finland, across the north sea to Norway, through Sweden then sailing from Stockholm with the midnight sun behind us to Turku. It was printed in the university's textiles workshop on silk. |
