Walford Mill Crafts in Wimborne, Dorset is delighted to present ‘The illusory and the real’, a solo exhibition from textile artist Pat Hodson.

Pat cleverly combines a variety of materials to create her pieces, including tissue, silk, paper fragments, thread, hand-drawn and digital images and dye.  The story from each piece is as a result of the interplay between these materials.

The exhibition features work from the past 10 years that includes panels, large-scale hangings, encaustic boxes and books. 

Curator Christine Lawry has welcomed Pat ‘s work to the gallery: “The exhibition will be visually stunning, creating an explosion of texture and colour, that draws you in to find the story behind each piece.”
